SPICY TOMATILLO SAUCE

Spicy Tomatillo Sauce Heat oven to 450*

Mix 7-8 tomatillos (husked, washed and cut in half), 2 jalapenos, 1 onion quartered and 3 cloves of peeled garlic with 1 tbsp of olive oil, salt and pepper on a baking sheet. Roast for 25-35 minutes. Cool; place everything in a blender (I seed one of the jalapeno) with 3/4 cup of chicken stock. Blend and pour into a sauce pan with 3 tsp of honey, 1 tsp balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper to taste. Reduce till slightly thickened.

I use this sauce on a lot of different foods. I love it on tacos (all kinds), hamburgers and hot dogs, just to name a few.
