ORIENTAL SLAW
This would be great served at a luncheon either as a side dish or add chicken for the main course. It feeds many so adjust your ingredient amount accordingly.
INGREDIENT:
- 1 pkg regular slaw
- 1 pkg rainbow slaw
- Green onions
- Sliced almonds, toasted
- Sesame seeds, toasted
- Sunflower seeds, do not toast
- Chicken if desired
- Dressing, recipe follows
Toss the salad ingredients in a large bowl. Mix in desired amount of dressing. Optional: Just before serving add crumbled dry ramen noodles. They will get soggy in any leftover slaw.
DRESSING
- 2 flavor pks from Chicken Ramen Noodles
- 1/3-1/2 cup oil
- 1/3-1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/3-1/2 cup sugar or Splenda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Whisk all dressing ingredients together adding oil, vinegar and sugar in stages checking for desired sweetness and tartness.
