KATHERINE HEPBURN BROWNIES
This recipe for Katherine Hepburn Brownies is without a doubt one of my favorites for the simple fact that they're really good and really easy to make. The standard rules I usually always follow with brownies is: mix them by hand and make sure to NEVER OVERCOOK them.
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 stick butter
- 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Heat over to 325*
Melt butter and chocolate and set aside.
In a mixing bowl whisk together eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla. Stir in flour, chocolate and nuts.
Pour into a greased 8" square baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE!
Enjoy alone or with someone, lol, just kidding. Enjoy plain or top with ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate or caramel sauce.
